Tickets and Rules

Things will be slightly different this year so we thought it appropriate to explain the ticket prices and varying game rules to everyone.

Tickets
Tickets will be .25 each. Blow Up's, games, and other activities will vary on how many tickets are accepted at each. You may purchase these at the entrance to the elementary gym.
**Upon purchasing tickets a child will be given a "passport". These will be stamped after each activity they have completed. When they are finished they may come back to the ticket booth and turn their passport in for a prize.**

County Jail
This will be placed in the courtyard in  between the cafeteria and gym. Some teachers will be put in a "cell" after their Buc Olympics schedule and will have to collect 10 tickets for their bond to be released.
Children can place any person in a "cell" for a bounty of 2 tickets. They must go find the person they have a bounty out for and bring them back to the jail. When placed in "jail" the person has 2 choices, either pay a 3 ticket bond to be released or stay in their "cell" for 3 minutes. If a child does not want to placed in "jail" we will not make them.
We will also be hiding "Get Out of Jail Free cards" throughout the festival, if a child finds one they can either use it for themselves or give it to someone else who needs to make "bond".

Silent Auction
The Silent Auction Baskets will be in the main hallway of the elementary. Bidding begins at $5.00 for each basket and can be increased in $1.00 increments. Bidding sheets will be in front of each basket. Bidding begins Thursday, Nov. 12th and ends Saturday Nov 14th at 3:00 pm promptly.

Penny War
We will be moving the penny pumpkin jars into the elementary gym and children can place money in them until 3:00 Saturday at 3:00. We will announce winners the following week after all of the money and points have been counted. So far, Mrs. Tompkin's class has won the PreK - 1st pizza party and Mrs. Risley's class has won the Coke Party for that category.

Marketplace and Food will be in the cafeteria. Please see the post regarding vendors for the marketplace. Pizza, Hot dogs, Hamburgers and chili will be offered.

Games and Blow Up's
Rules will be posted at each game and blow up.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at wendy_baubach@yahoo.com

Bucfest County Jail!

This year we have added an exciting "County Jail" to our list of activities to be in! The children will have opportunities to see some of their favorite teacher(s) and staff in the "cells"! After each Buc Olympics games some teachers will be put in a "jail cell" and have to raise 10 tickets from passersby to reach their "bond".  For children who want to put their friends or parents in jail, the following rules apply:
2 tickets to put a bounty out

the child must go find the person they are wishing to put in "jail"
3 tickets to make "bond" or no more than 5 minutes in the "cell"
We will also hide "Get out of Jail Free Cards" thoughout the festival for the children to find and use themselves or give to someone else :)
Be looking for all of the "Wanted Posters" thougout the school..thank you to Lynette Young for taking all of these for us!

The county jail will be located in the school courtyard!
